About us

ELA specialises in commercial and contractual support services and dispute resolution to the construction industry, providing pragmatic and effective solutions for its clients. ELA’s team consists of highly qualified Quantity Surveyors and Lawyers with relevant experience from across the globe, which provides reassurance to its clients that they are in safe hands.

ELA’s Principal Director – Edward Lowe is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Lawyer, after qualifying as a Barrister, with vast experience in contract and commercial management. His working knowledge and experience covers buildings, infrastructure, industrial, residential, education, renewable energy and retail sectors. In recent years, he has specialised in claims management and various support services in all forms of dispute resolution.

Edward has worked in private practice, main contracting and construction claims within a wide range of high profile projects. He has an in-depth working knowledge of drafting, applying and advising on various forms of contract including FIDIC, NEC, JCT, bespoke contracts, joint venture and consortium agreements.

His project experience includes power, highways, rail, hotels, leisure, educational, government, office redevelopments, residential developments, retail and gas projects.

  3. Graduate Diploma in Law
  4. Post Graduate Diploma in Law
  5. Bar of England & Wales

  3. SCL – member – Society of Construction Law
  4. Gray’s Inn – member – Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn (please note, although Edward is qualified as a Barrister, he does not hold a practicing certificate)
